Readings For Your Wedding

I always have two readings in my ceremonies, one at the beginning and another one at the end. If you are having a bilingual ceremony, then one can be in Spanish and the other in English. The officiant can do the readings or you can have family members or friends become part of your special day and read at the ceremony. Here are some of the many to choose from:

Because I love you

Because I love you, I can look at life with clear eyes

And face tomorrow with a brave heart.

Because I love you, I can wake up everyday with brand new hope

and go to sleep peacefully, as seasons come and seasons go!

All... because I love you.

You are!

You are not the air that I breathe, you are the sweet scent that drifts upon it.

You are not the sounds that I hear, you are the music of my life.

You are not the food that I need, you are the nourishment of my soul.

You are not my will to survive, you are my reason for living.

The Tree of Life

Marriage creates, from two committed spirits, one beautiful Tree of Life.

Its roots are the trust and devotion that underlie each action, thought and motive.

Its branches are experiences shares, hopes realized and dreams pursued.

And its blossoms are the kisses, gentle words and tender sighs that decorate each day and beautify the union of two loving hearts.

May your love grow like a beautiful tree, sending its roots deep and branches high, with new beauty in every season of your life together.

Paul's Letter to the Corinthians

Love is patient and kind.

Love is not jealous or boastful.

It is never selfish or rude.

Love does not demand on it's own way.

It is not irritable or resentful.

Love does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but finds it's joy in the truth.

Love bears all things, believes all things and hopes all things.

Love will never end.
